Buying A Car

after pricing my xb to friends we found out our local dealership that we always do business with was willing to give us the same money for our car as what we were going to get thru the private sale (i just happened to go in for a service and left with this information. I wasn't looking to trade my xb at all). soooo....needless to say we closely looked at the situation and decided it was in our best interested to really consider this. i am now the proud of owner of a new car! i'll share more details later....but i can definitely say i am now an expert in buying a car. if you need any help or guidance on making your next purchase give me a shout and i can give you the low down. it's very interesting.

for years kent and i have paid sticker price...pretty much. we aren't hagglers and HATE the negotiating game. this time, we said WE ARE GETTING A DEAL!!! getting that deal was craziness though and i now know why we hate it so much....but at least we feel as though we got a deal and i guess that is all that matters, right?

At The Farm

My Beautiful Car

today kent and i spent a couple of hours detailing my scion xb......wax job and all. it looks so perfect i had to take pictures of it (because it will probably never looks this good again) and now i'm scared to even drive it. i might get a spec of dust on it....teehee.

and...if you are wondering...i LOVE my xb! this car is the most awesome car for so many reasons. i'm getting 31 miles per gallon. it's so roomy inside that i've carried a small entertainment system in it for a friend. how small it looks from the outside is very deceiving. i could go on and on about all the wonderful things i love about this car. i've had it now for 3 years and i've been happy with it the whole time.

after saying all of these wonderful things........there is a possibility i might be selling it to a friend who is looking for a vehicle. she is looking at the scions and the elements and really likes this look and style. the kicker is that i seriously can't think of another vehicle i would rather have. of course there's some suv's that i really like but i have to get good gas mileage. i also like the scion tc. every time i see the tc on the road i think about how much i really like the look of them too......so i just might consider it if this works out. i don't really like the look of the new scion xb's....otherwise i would just buy a new xb.

wish me luck because if i do sell my xb i might find myself VERY disgusted that i let it go. :0)
