paige and her friend kelcie are working on a science project together. they are growing crystals! so far, they've been able to master growing borax, sugar (rock candy) and citrine crystals.
borax crystals were pretty easy and were complete over night. sugar crystals presented more of a challenge and after three batches we have rock candy within a week. citrine crystals are just plain cool. they are grown on rocks and within two days we have significant crystals.
i'll post more picture of their project as we go along and hopefully i'll have pictures from the actual science fair!
