i'm so excited for 2012! a few things i want to mention about the new year....
one - i will continue to focus on family photography...particularly quality, candid work that reflects the essence and love of each family. fun and relaxed sessions.
two - i am going to continue my fall special into the new year. the pricing is very simple. a basic breakdown is a one hour session with a one unit family (up to 5 subjects) and a disc of images (20 to 40 images) for 250.00. during the fall, this was so well received i decided to continue it into the new year. for further details please contact me. If you have a preferred time and date, I recommend planning your session as early as possible.

Pinterest Dinner - Southwest Wraps
we are definitely a meat and potatoes family but every once in a while we enjoy trying something new. i put my sous chef to work and used a recipe from pinterest....the southwest chicken wrap with black beans and rice found here.
picture thanks to pinterest. (i was too busy cooking as the 'head chef' to take pics. :p hindsight is that i should have made paige the photographer!)
we stayed with the recipe very closely. instead of putting all of the ingredients together to stuff the wrap we chose to put the shredded chicken, rice and bean/veggie mix in their own bowls and make the wraps to our individual liking. i think this is really fun for kids. also, it's a great recipe for a family who enjoys eating meat or has vegetarians in the family. if you're like us...you have a picky eater in your family who enjoys very much making their own creation....i won't name names. :0)
