Brooklyn {Sneak Peek} Family Photography Bowling Green Ky

I have to share a sneak peek of this cute as a button little girl.  A little girl I have so enjoyed watching grow through my lens.  Brooklyn, I love your energy, and I love seeing you grow into a proud big sister.

More to come of Brooklyn's little brother, Marshall, and the rest of the family!

The New Wedding Season - Bowling Green, Ky Wedding Photographer

Fall is the new wedding season which i think is a fabulous thing!

Three years ago, I photographed a beautiful wedding that still sticks with me, today.  Every detail so well thought out.  A beautiful bride and handsome groom to top it all off!

To add to this wedding, there was a gorgeous fall setting bridal session.  Another one of my all-time fall favorites!

So often (too often), I hear folks say they wish they had chosen a better wedding photographer.  They wish they had set a higher budget and sought out quality work.  They are unhappy with their photos.  This makes my heart hurt.  A wedding is a one time event.  Heirloom photos to enjoy for a lifetime and to be handed down.  My friends, find the perfect wedding photographer that provides quality work and a style you love and make the investment.

Alysia Lawrence Photography sets out to provide quality, timeless work.  If you think we might be a good fit, give us a shout!  I would love to sit down with you in person and talk about your big day and what you are looking for in a photographer.  I would love to take this journey with you.

To happy wedding filled fall days ahead!

Amen Picasso Amen

The story is told that one day the great artist Picasso was walking in the market. A woman approached him, handed him a pencil and piece of paper, and asked, “Can you do a little drawing of me?”

Picasso replied, “Absolutely.” He did a quick little drawing and handed it back to the woman.

She looked at it and said, “That’s amazing.” After thanking him she started to walk away.

Picasso stopped her and said, “Excuse me, that’ll be one million dollars.”

She said, “One million dollars? That took you thirty seconds.”

Picasso replied, “My dear lady, it to me thirty years to do that.”

Amen Picasso Amen

I'm currently reading this book.

*AMAZING* read so far and I have no doubt I'll finish it feeling the same way.  I am going to walk away with so much more than I expected from this book.  With the reading season approaching....this is a must for your list!

Limitations? It's Your Choice

I do understand that there are limitations when it comes to photography equipment.  I do believe though that we can still create something wonderful with those pieces of equipment that limit us.

Once again, I'm sharing a photo hubby took with his point and shoot camera.

I'm quite impressed!

Straight out of the camera.  No editing.

Well exposed, clean, sharp and has bekoh (remember that word?  blurred background).  It is a shot taken straight on but the composition of the marigold adds dimension and interest to the shot.

What do you think?
