Red

happy tuesday!

i've been seeing lots of lovely bright colors lately. gorgeous veggies coming out of gardens. reds, greens, yellows, oranges

we've had a lot of red going on in our garden. our cayenne peppers have been beautiful!




crushed red peppers are on our mind. we've never done it....so it's going to be an experiment for us. i've researched online, but still don't feel completely confident in what we are doing. cross your fingers for us!





i wish i could say i made this salsa....it's soooo good! instead, a friend made it for us and we've so enjoyed it.

Spinning Yarn

what's on my mind today?

dog hair. i think i might take up the art of spinning yarn....
i could make sweaters.....hats.....mittens.....blankets.....out of dog hair.

seriously, if you've ever had a dog with a thick undercoat you
know exactly what i'm taking about! it's crazy constant work
to keep a house clean when a dog is shedding.

hair just waiting to land on the floor once inside....




i have actually watched the art of spinning demonstrated. it's pretty neat! i could see it being very calming, relaxing, therapeutic....just what i need to get through this phase. :0)


on a different note....
my sweet girl is a freshman! yes! a freshmen. crazy-ness!

Interesting In An Ordinary

today i spent a lovely morning with fellow photographers capturing the world around us. cheree federico photography planned the meet and i had such a great time. it was nice to catch up and it was nice to make new friends. here are a few images from my surroundings.
