for some strange reason i had my camera's ISO set at 1600!! i can't remember what i was doing before w/ my camera....because i can't imagine why i had it so high......so this means GRAIN! sometimes though...grain is kinda cool.

Hosting Christmas

ok, so you know i'm hosting my first Christmas gathering for my family ........ pulling things together is under way. here's what we've got going on so far......












the christmas cards are coming in! speaking of that...i need to get mine OUT. this always sneaks up on me. this year i'm displaying ours in this style below. i got this idea from a magazine.

Early Christmas Present

Centerpiece

this coming weekend i'll be hosting one of our Christmas gatherings. it will be a first for me.

below, is a centerpiece i came up with today. i wanted it to be simple and red.

by the way, i'm loving the lens i got w/ my new camera. it's the 85mm 1.8. i've read LOTS of good things about this lens so this is what i went with. LOVING it!
