kieran is probably my most talked about, asked about client i have.

everyone asks about him and wants to know when he'll make his next appearance on the blog so they can see how much he has grown.

and, gosh has kieran grown?! and, cuter than ever!

2 years old! yes, i'm feeling old already. :0)

For Real Christmas Tree

it's the real deal at the lawrence home this christmas and it's beautiful! we are waiting for it to "relax" and then it's time for lights and homemade ornaments. it smells sooo good! :0)

tonight i decided to top my first wrapped gift with the yarn pom pom and had to share just how stinkin' cute they are!

My How They Grow!

i'm sure you can imagine...one of my most favorite things about being a photographer is getting to watch babies, children and families grow. AND, to have the privilege of documenting those special times.

brooklyn has the sweetest smile! it's contagious! believe it or not brooklyn is turning one very soon.

Yay!! For The Weekends

about 3:00 yesterday i had the eyes glazed over counting down the minutes i'm ready for the weekend look going on. :0)

very thankful for the weekend and i hope everyone is enjoying theirs to the fullest. :0)

Soups On

fall + cool weather always equals soup time. one of my favorite soups is french onion.

for the longest time i've wanted to give this soup a shot at home but just hadn't taken the time to do so. this week i felt the need to just hang out in my kitchen cooking.....so what better time to dive into something new.

after some research on recipes i decided to go with tyler florence's version. i love his show and how rustic his overall feel is....especially with his recipes. during a recent trip to barnes and nobles i found myself browsing the cookbook section. his books drew me in. they made me want to find a cozy spot and flip through the pages. homey - rustic "feel" is a wonderful thing for me!

i also made my own croutons with french bread, olive oil and fresh thyme from the garden. YUM!
