just finished up the Christmas wreath. i made good use of our holly tree. (i LOVE our holly tree and how appropriate for Christmas!)








paige was having fun with the lights on our Christmas tree and using slow shutter speed. we have fun every year doing this and seeing what we come up with. :0)

you might remember brad and julie's maternity session. i was beyond excited when julie contacted me to set up a session that now included CUTE little kieran!!! kieran is a DOLL!!

when a fellow photographer comes to me wanting to schedule a session i'm sure you can imagine the pressure to be felt. not only was THAT intimidating......but also knowing toni was going to travel quite a bit to get to ME....little ol' ME put the pressure on too! i was extremely flattered to say the least.

toni has breathtaking beauty....she is beautiful inside and out. i have been itching to show off these pictures. so without further ado.....introducing toni......

....an autum stroll. (toni's idea) knowing toni was a photographer i wanted to get her input too. i knew she could look around and "see" things as i could so i was open to anything. she had told me before our session that she was going to be "putty in my hands" and i love that!

Rainville Family

how cute is the rainville family?!

the rainville family helped me to close out 2008 and what better way?! weekends leading up to Christmas are filling up with family and friend gatherings....time spent with loved ones....so i'm going to kick back and enjoy it!

i have some catching up to do with my blogging so that's what i'll be using the next couple of weeks to do. stay posted because there will be more pictures to come that i can't wait to share.

Betty Crocker Here Again.....

back in the summer i had a visitor by mistake. before she left she handed me a bag of cookies that were to die for. she told me they would melt in my mouth and the recipe was a secret but if i looked hard enough i could probably find it. they were out of this world...some sort of shortbread sugar butter cookie or a fine vanilla wafer cookie. after eating these cookies it reminded me of how much i love shortbread cookies. also, after recently eating some pecan shortbread cookies i decided it was time for me to do a little baking. above are lemon poppy seed shortbread for our upcoming sweets and treats exchange at work. butter, powdered sugar, flour, lemon extract and poppy seeds....bake and enjoy!
